Privacy Policy

This explains what personal data AIO TV collects, why, and the choices you have. We keep collection to the minimum needed to run the app, and we never sell it.
Who we are
AIO TV (“we”, “us”, “the app”) is a streaming media application for mobile and TV devices. AIO TV is operated from the United Kingdom and is the “data controller” for the personal data described here. For any privacy question or request, contact support@aiotv.cloud.
What we collect
- Your email address — when you choose to create an account or sign in. Sign-in is passwordless: we email you a one-time code.
- A display name — if you choose to provide one at sign-up.
- Your library — the watchlist, viewing progress and favourites you create, so they can sync to your account.
- Your setup — the channels and sources you add, stored so your configuration can follow you across devices. We store your configuration to sync it; we don’t monitor what you watch through third-party sources.
- Technical & diagnostic data — a device identifier, app version, device model and basic crash/performance diagnostics, used to keep the app secure and working.
You can use the app as an anonymous guest without an account — in that mode your library stays only on your device and is not sent to us.
Why we use it
- To provide the service (performance of a contract) — signing you in, and syncing your library and settings to your account.
- To keep it secure and reliable (legitimate interests) — diagnostics, abuse prevention and fixing problems.
- With your consent — if you opt in to product updates by email. You can withdraw consent anytime.
We send one-time sign-in codes and essential service messages to the address you provide, through our email delivery provider, MailerSend, acting on our behalf. We do not send marketing email unless you have opted in, and we never share your address for third-party advertising.
Who processes your data
We use a small number of trusted providers to run the service, acting as our processors under contract:
- Supabase — account and sync data storage, and authentication.
- Cloudflare — our backend and network infrastructure.
- MailerSend — delivery of sign-in and service emails.
Some providers may process data outside the UK/EEA; where they do, appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) are in place.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and library data while your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your personal data, except where we must keep limited records to meet a legal obligation. Diagnostic data is kept only while it’s useful for reliability and security.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can access, correct, delete or export your data, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email support@aiotv.cloud. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Children
AIO TV is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we’ll delete it.
You bring your own channels and sources to AIO TV. Those third-party services have their own privacy practices, which we don’t control — please review their policies for how they handle your data.
Changes
We may update this policy as the app evolves. We’ll post the new version here and update the date above; significant changes will be highlighted in the app.
